De campagne 2017/2018 om het toerisme naar Portugal te promoten start vandaag in 20 landen

The Campaign is based on four films that will challenge the world to visit us under the motto "Can’t Skip Portugal". The campaign will take place exclusively on digital media, which involves an investment of 10 million Euros per year.

Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, USA, China, the Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, Russia, Canada, India, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Austria, Belgium and Poland are the markets in which this campaign bets on to promote the country. "Can’t Skip Portugal" focuses on the message that there is simply no way to ignore a destination such this one: authentic and unique, with so much to see, taste, feel and experience. Following this logic, the motto of the campaign is born, which extends to all the communication of Turismo de Portugal.

According to Luís Araújo, the President of Turismo de Portugal, “this is a remarkable campaign, for the way it balances the most emotional tone and associates it with our country and the promotional message that clearly identifies some of our best attractions. The fact that the campaign privileges the digital media, in particular social networks, also means a great emphasis on the direct involvement of the people ".

The session that launched the start of the campaign was chaired by Manuel Caldeira Cabral (Minister of Economy, and was attended by Ana Mendes Godinho (Secretary of State for Tourism), Luís Araújo (President of Turismo de Portugal), Pedro Varela (film director), Tomás Froes (executive director for the creative agency) and Mário Augusto (journalist), who moderated the debate about the fundamentals and framework of the campaign. The session also starred British actor James Palmer, who was the protagonist of one of the films.
