The Vuelta takes a break, the last one, on Tuesday 14th September. And Wednesday it comes back to activity and, moreover, competing for the unique individual time trial of the whole race, and therefore the resting day couldn´t be a relaxation day,
but a very active resting day in order to have the muscles in keeping with, in order to succeed in the day´s journey after which will mean a very demanding effort. The time trial will take place in Peñafiel, where the riders have to face up a considerable distance.
This city in the county of Valladolid will host for the first time a Vuelta stage, showing to the world its famous cellars in a tracing only suitable for long distance riders. And this is because 46 km of long straight roads can mark many differences, moreover if we are aware of the fact that until this stage everything might have happened flavorably for the climbers
